chunky knit & finally, snow

It snowed!

Properly this time.

I love that you can wear rings with mittens (as opposed to gloves)

Packed on the eye makeup here, once in a while I’m in the mood for it. It gets dramatic quickly, at least to me, perhaps because I do it relatively rarely. This is the Lorac PRO palette at work, reminding me how easy and appealing a soft, shadow liner on the upper lid is.  IMG_8189

On the lips: Charlotte Tilbury’s Bitch Perfect lipstick (I got it in this mini trio). Such a good name. For once a nude that doesn’t make me look like a corpse. [Well, there are a few others. Will try to remember to post about them, for any with a similar skin tone out there.] NYX blush in Mocha, a little trooper of a blush.

the winter cloak

I think this speaks for itself.

In the midst of a snowstorm, no less. Cloaks, people! Wear cloaks!

So glam, and seemingly the only outerwear own that has a hood. How can this be? [That can’t be right.] And how is eyeliner so dramatic?  Eight seconds of metallic plum eyeliner later I look suddenly intense and vixen-like and a little overdressed.

Wool fur trimmed cloak (eBay), Pratt and Hart leather mittens, Old Navy sweater, Express jeans (thrifted), Sorel boots, vintage Timex watch, Pearl Paradise necklace, Roxanne Mulberry bag (thrifted). On the lips, MAC RiRiWoo layered (darkened) with Japonesque Color lipstick in shade 7 (liking the bold lip generally). This is the NARS Exhibit A blush again. So good.IMG_0632x
