I am utterly charmed by Madewell’s Fall 2013 campaign, and it is chiefly due to the model, Caroline de Maigret.
A lot of the looks are great, too (the styling is spot on trend in a relaxed, foolproof way), and as simple as they promise to be, but I don’t think I would have given them a second look if it were not for the severe, sublime architecture of this face. Oh, she’s Parisian, too. Naturellement.

This campaign is a reminder for me of how powerful the presence of the model can be. It is making me take another look at Madewell not because I care about the pieces but because I’m so impressed with their choice of de Maigret.
