weekend distraction: floral crowns

Speaking of floral crowns, I basically want this whole etsy shop.

I wanted, specifically, a floral garland with fairly realistic, not plastic yet durable flowers, well spaced (neither too crowded nor too sparse), that would be adjustable and versatile. It took many hours of searching (it takes time, finding just what you want), but I found exactly what I was looking for.

I think these are so lovely and elegant. In fact, they are the only garlands I found that met my criteria at all. A gorgeous bohemian summer accessory. ~$15-$18.

I got the first garland pictured last summer…having a hard time deciding between some of the beautiful options available in the shop now, but I know I want at least one more. At least.

on the street: springtime on Newbury St.

It finally feels like springtime in Boston. Sort of. You still need a pretty serious coat but it’s getting there. Here are some shots I took on Newbury Street yesterday.

I need a pair of driving gloves. Clearly.

This guy was wearing a great ivory fisherman sweater (complex cabling, and a color I love) under the leather jacket, the whiskey color of which I also loved.

Loved both of these outfits. So much going on, and so much individuality in each element. Especially like the patterned tights under the ripped jeans and the geometric grandfather cardigan with the leopard headscarf.

This man standing outside the RH gallery looked so polished.

This is one block over, but still.
